How much money should I bring to Trinidad and Tobago?

Probably a question on every traveller’s mind:

“How much money should I carry to Trinidad and Tobago?”

Well, don’t despair, that’s what we’re here for! So to start things off let’s give you an idea of the average exchange rate for a few countries (November 2012). If your country is not on the list, you can try this Trinidad Currency Exchange Website.

  • 1 Australian Dollar = 6 TT Dollars
  • 1 Barbados Dollar = 2.5 TT Dollars
  • 1 British Pound = 9 TT Dollars
  • 1 Canadian Dollar = 6 TT Dollars
  • 1 East Caribbean Dollar = 2 TT Dollars
  • 1 Euro = 7 TT Dollars
  • 1 New Zealand Dollar = 4 TT Dollars
