Fifth Geological Conference (September 3rd – 5th)

The Geological Society of Trinidad & Tobago (GSTT) welcomes your technical contribution to its 5th Geological Conference, “From the Conventional to the Ingenious”.   Abstracts and papers are currently being accepted for inclusion into the technical programme. Speakers and authors will have the option to include their paper within a commemorative Conference Proceeding following the event, and/ or publication within AAPG data pages.  Full papers are particularly encouraged, and these will be reviewed by a select panel of academics, industry and government professionals. The closing date for submissions is July 24th 2012.

Old Papa Nezah by Ronald John (September 5th)

An  American introduces himself as Dr Titus Wazambah, takes up residence in a remote village in Trinidad. His claim is that he has healing powers for every ill in the community, so, immediately the villagers are drawn to him. It leads to a fatal confrontation with the iconic obeah man, Papa Nezah. This is the story line in Ronald John’s mythical drama, OLD PAPA NEZAH, the Playwrights Workshop’s reading presentation for the month of September 2012.

Primary Property 2012: Richard Mark Rawlins (September 7th)

Artist Richard Mark Rawlins presents his new work PRIMARY PROPERTY 2012 at the Night Gallery of Bohemia. Re-enactment  of the First Independence Calypso Contest of 1962 (September 16th)

The Craftsman’s Forum (September 30th)
