Of course it would be easy to make Sweet TnT sound like the best place on earth (which I personally feel like it is) but in this series we’re giving you the facts and unbiased information.
So what do you know? Probably, that we’re located in the Caribbean and made up of two islands. You might have seen our ‘Soca Warriors’ (national football team) in the 2010 World Cup Finals and maybe you’ve heard of Brian Lara who holds the record for the highest individual score in first class cricket. But there’s a lot more to Trinidad and Tobago than you might think. As a matter of fact, there’s a lot more to this country than I know and I’ve been living here over twenty five years. So let’s see . . .
Compared to the rest of this planet, we are relatively small in size and few in number . . . BUT, we make up for it when it comes to food, culture, history, recreation, festivals or any other crave that you may be looking for . . . if it’s one thing we have . . . it variety!
Trinidad and Tobago has a long history of settlers that came from as far as the Middle East to our close South American neighbours and all in between. The islands have been home to persons from Spain, France, China, Britain and Africa to name a few. You could just imagine the influx of history, culture, food and more that came along from all these distant lands. Take a glimpse into Trinidad’s Past.
