So you’re travelling to Trinidad and Tobago and wondering if you can use your cell phone? Of course you can! So here’s what you have to do.
Step 1
- Be sure to ‘unlock’ your phone before travelling.
What does ‘unlocking’ your phone involve? It’s a quick process to allow your phone to use SIM cards from other mobile carriers. It’s safe and the process is very easy to be done. It does not damage or interfere with the operation of your phone.
Step 2
- When you arrive in Sweet TnT, you’ll have two options of Trinidad and Tobago Cell Phone Carriers. Digicel, Trinidad and Tobago and bmobile, Trinidad and Tobago. Our suggestion is that you go with Digicel. Their rates tend to be a bit cheaper as well as their cell phone service more reliable! All you have to do is visit an outlet and purchase a prepaid SIM card!

And that’s that! There are many phone outlets throughout TnT as well as in the Piarco International Airport (Trinidad) and A.N.R.Robinson International Airport (Tobago). The cost of of the SIM cards start at TT25.00.
